Gdańsk Old Town

Visiting time: 2-3 hours

Sightseeing tour of Gdańsk. We will head to the Royal Route, which leads from the Golden Gate to the Green Gate located by the Motława River. It gets its name from the fact that Polish kings traveled this route during their visits to Gdańsk. During the tour, we will see Long Market, the Main City Hall, as well as one of the symbols of Gdańsk – Neptune's Fountain and the Artus Court. We will explore Mariacka Street, undoubtedly one of the most beautiful streets in Gdańsk. It is a wonderful example of the former Gdańsk architecture with porches adorned with gargoyles, narrow and richly decorated facades of tenement houses that once belonged to wealthy merchants and goldsmiths. We will visit the interior and learn about the history of the St. Mary's Basilica, the largest brick Gothic church in Europe, known as the "crown of the city of Gdańsk," dedicated to the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary. From there, we will head to the recently rebuilt fabric of Gdańsk's port city, known as the Granary Island. Inside one of the restored granaries named Deo, we will see a map of Hanseatic Europe, photographs of the Main City from the time of its pre-war glory, as well as commemorative photographs of heads of state and royal dignitaries visiting Gdańsk. Next, we will walk across the modern Holy Spirit footbridge to admire one of the most characteristic buildings of Gdańsk - the Crane, the largest port crane in medieval Europe. From there, we will proceed along the Long Embankment to the Fish Market, where we will see a fragment of the defensive walls of the Teutonic Knights' castle, and we will conclude the tour at the drawbridge to Olowianka Island.

Magical Sopot

Visiting time: 1.5 hours

Sightseeing in Sopot. During the walk, we will see the most beautiful features of the resort and the eclectic spa architecture, as well as its symbol – the longest wooden pier in Europe (511.5 m), the luxurious Grand Hotel with the oldest year-round casino in Poland, the Spa House, and the monument to the founder of the Sopot spa, Dr. Jean Georg Haffner. We will walk along the famous promenade on Bohaterów Monte Cassino Street (the so-called "Monciak"), see the monument to the heroic bear Wojtek, the Crooked House, and listen to stories about the festivals and famous guests visiting the Forest Opera and the horse racing track with a view of the Bay. We will have the opportunity to taste the famous Sopot brine and see up close the Balneological Institute from 1904, which still hosts patients.

Gdynia, a maritime legend and modernism

Visiting time: 1.5 hours

Visiting Gdynia. Skwer Kościuszki and the Southern Pier are the starting points of our tour of Gdynia. We head to the Monument to the Polish Navy, a symbol of Polish presence at sea and a memorial for fallen sailors. Nearby, the most famous Polish ships and vessels are docked in the President's Basin. First, we will visit the Museum Ship ORP "Błyskawica." It is the only surviving destroyer from World War II. Along the waterfront, we reach the "Dar Pomorza," the most famous Polish sailing ship, which is over 100 years old and has circumnavigated the globe multiple times. Today, the "Dar Młodzieży," which serves as a training ship for the Maritime University, also calls Gdynia its home port. If we are lucky, we will see the two largest Polish sailing ships at the same pier. Nearby, the Gdańsk Shipping Company catamarans dock, taking passengers on trips to Hel. It is worth stopping at the Passenger Ships Alley, the only one of its kind in Poland.

On the other side of the Southern Pier, the Gdynia Aquarium invites you to explore, showcasing nearly 300 species of marine animals. The end of the pier offers a beautiful view of the approach channel to the President's Basin. Here stands a monument to the writer Joseph Conrad, (real name Józef Konrad Korzeniowski) who wrote in English and is the world's most famous maritime author. Next to the boulder with the writer's bust stands the "Polish Sails." The Polish Sailor's House, now housing the Navigation Department of the Maritime University, is one of the best examples of modernist architecture in Gdynia. We then head towards the Maritime Museum and the Gdynia City Museum.

In addition to the modern presentation of the history of the navy, there is also the Outdoor Exhibition of Naval Weapons and Equipment, where we will see the submarine ORP "Sokół." It is the only exhibit of its kind opened for visiting in Poland!
